About my pricing

I offer flexible, private-pay sessions designed to meet the needs of you and your family. All sessions are billed directly to you, giving you transparency and control over your care.

Payment options

Monstera Counseling accepts credit/debit cards, Venmo, and HSA/FSA. Payment is due at the time of service.

Why pay private?

Insurance is not billed for sessions. This approach allows us to focus entirely on your family’s needs without the limitations and requirements of insurance companies.

It gives you privacy, flexibility, and a more personalized experience, so we can spend our time working on the solutions that matter most to you, rather than paperwork or approvals.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and facilities are required to give patients who aren't using insurance, or who aren't using their insurance, an estimate of expected charges for services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. This includes related costs like counseling services, testing, and appointments.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service. You can also ask your health care provider, or any health care facility, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

Make sure to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to submit a dispute, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
